Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

At Richtech SmartHomes, we are committed to delivering high-quality smart home automation products and services. Our warranty covers the following:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
  • Hardware components provided by Richtech SmartHomes.
  • Smart home automation system malfunctions due to manufacturing defects.

This warranty applies only to products and installations performed by authorized Richtech SmartHomes technicians.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty period begins on the date of installation and covers from 6 months, 12 months and 24 months depending on the devices.

3. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear of components over time.
  • Software issues due to third-party apps, internet failures, or hacking.
  • Electrical power surges, lightning strikes, or natural disasters.
  • Accidental or intentional damage.

4. Claim Process

If you experience issues covered under this warranty, please follow these steps:

  • Provide proof of purchase and installation date.
  • Describe the issue and provide pictures or videos if necessary.
  • We will assess the problem and arrange for repair or replacement.

5. Repair & Replacement Policy

Depending on the issue, we will provide one of the following resolutions:

  • Repair: If the issue is minor and can be fixed.
  • Replacement: If the product is deemed defective beyond repair.
  • Refund: In rare cases where a replacement is unavailable.

6. Warranty Transferability

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

7. Limitation of Liability

Richtech SmartHomes is not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products.
